A city pulls scattered department IT into one managed system.
Springfield’s IT had grown up department by department rather than as one system. There was no central management, and so no single view of what the city actually ran or who could reach it. The servers underneath were aging, and disaster preparedness was poor — a serious gap for a Panhandle municipality whose records have to survive whatever the season brings.
Flux Labs brought the city under centralized endpoint management, so every department’s machines are administered from one place instead of one at a time. File servers were migrated to cloud storage, taking the aging hardware out of the critical path, and secure, monitored backups were installed for all departments — monitored being the operative word, since a backup nobody watches is an assumption rather than a protection.
